🟥 गाउट क्या है? | What is Gout?

हिंदी:
गाउट (गठिया) एक प्रकार का आर्थराइटिस (गठिया रोग) है, जो शरीर में यूरिक एसिड (Uric Acid) के बढ़ जाने से होता है। जब यूरिक एसिड ज़्यादा हो जाता है, तो यह जोड़ो (जॉइंट्स) में क्रिस्टल के रूप में जमा हो जाता है और तेज़ दर्द, सूजन और लालिमा पैदा करता है।

English:
Gout is a form of arthritis caused by high levels of uric acid in the blood. When uric acid accumulates, it forms sharp crystals in the joints, leading to sudden pain, swelling, and redness.

🟥 गाउट के मुख्य लक्षण | Symptoms of Gout

हिंदी:

• अचानक तेज़ दर्द (अक्सर रात में शुरू होता है)

• जोड़ लाल और सूजा हुआ दिखना

• छूने पर गर्मी महसूस होना

• ज़्यादातर असर बड़े पैर के अंगूठे पर होता है, पर अन्य जोड़ भी प्रभावित हो सकते हैं

• Sudden severe pain (often starts at night)

• Redness and swelling in the joint

• Warmth over the affected joint

• Most commonly affects the big toe, but other joints (ankle, knee, wrist) may also be involved

🟥 गाउट के कारण | Causes of Gout

हिंदी:

• शरीर में यूरिक एसिड का ज़्यादा बनना

• गुर्दे द्वारा यूरिक एसिड का ठीक से न निकलना

• अत्यधिक मांस, मछली, शराब, बीयर का सेवन

• मोटापा, डायबिटीज़, ब्लड प्रेशर जैसी बीमारियाँ

• कुछ दवाइयाँ (जैसे डाइयुरेटिक्स – पानी की गोलियाँ)

• Kidneys not excreting uric acid properly

• High intake of red meat, seafood, alcohol, beer

• Conditions like obesity, diabetes, hypertension

• Certain medicines (e.g., diuretics – water pills)

• खून की जाँच (Uric Acid level)

• जोड़ का एक्स-रे / अल्ट्रासाउंड

• कभी-कभी जॉइंट फ्लूड टेस्ट

🟥 गाउट का इलाज | Treatment of Gout

हिंदी:

1. तेज़ दर्द के समय:

   • दर्द कम करने वाली दवाइयाँ (NSAIDs, Colchicine, Steroids – डॉक्टर की सलाह से)

2. लंबे समय तक नियंत्रण के लिए:

   • यूरिक एसिड कम करने वाली दवाइयाँ (Allopurinol, Febuxostat – डॉक्टर द्वारा दी जाती हैं)

3. लाइफस्टाइल में बदलाव:

   • शराब, बीयर, रेड मीट से परहेज़

   • अधिक पानी पिएँ (कम से कम 8–10 गिलास रोज़)

   • वजन नियंत्रित करें

   • नियमित व्यायाम करें

• हर 3–6 महीने में यूरिक एसिड टेस्ट कराएँ
