RING WORM

 Ringworm, also known as tinea, is a common fungal infection that affects the skin. Tinea cruris, specifically, refers to ringworm of the groin area, commonly called "jock itch." Causes Fungi: The infection is caused by dermatophytes, a type of fungus that thrives in warm, moist environments. Transmission: It can spread through direct contact with an infected person or animal, or by touching contaminated objects such as towels, clothing, or gym equipment. Symptoms Itchy, red rash: Typically forms a ring-like pattern. Scaling and peeling: The skin may become flaky. Sharp borders: The rash usually has well-defined edges.
