DIABETIC NEPHROPATHY

 Diabetic nephropathy is a serious kidney-related complication of diabetes. It's a progressive kidney disease caused by damage to the small blood vessels in the kidneys due to high levels of blood sugar. Over time, this damage can lead to kidney failure. The risk factors for developing diabetic nephropathy include: Duration of diabetes: The longer you have diabetes, the higher your risk. Poorly controlled blood sugar levels: High blood sugar damages the kidneys over time. High blood pressure (hypertension): This can worsen kidney damage.
