🩺 What is Pityriasis Rosea?
A common, self-limiting skin condition, often seen in young adults.

🔑 Key Features:

• Starts with a Herald Patch (a single large oval pink lesion).

• After 1–2 weeks, multiple smaller lesions spread in a “Christmas tree” pattern on the trunk.

• May cause mild itching, but otherwise harmless.

✅ Treatment:

• Usually resolves in 6–8 weeks without medicine.

• Symptomatic relief with antihistamines, mild steroid creams & moisturizers.

• Reassurance is most important.

एक सामान्य, स्वयं ठीक हो जाने वाला त्वचा रोग, जो प्रायः युवाओं में देखा जाता है।

🔑 मुख्य लक्षण:

• शुरुआत में एक बड़ा Herald Patch (गुलाबी दाग़) दिखाई देता है।

• 1–2 हफ्ते बाद कई छोटे दाग़, “Christmas tree pattern” में शरीर पर फैल जाते हैं।

• कभी-कभी हल्की खुजली हो सकती है।

✅ इलाज:

• यह रोग बिना दवा के 6–8 हफ्तों में स्वयं ठीक हो जाता है।

• लक्षणों के लिए – एंटीहिस्टामिन, हल्के स्टेरॉयड क्रीम और मॉइस्चराइज़र।

• सबसे ज़रूरी – मरीज़ को आश्वासन देना।
