🌍 Introduction | परिचय

Viral Hepatitis is a major health problem in India, including Rajasthan. It is an infection that affects the liver, caused by different viruses – Hepatitis A, B, C, D, and E. If not detected and treated on time, it can lead to serious complications like liver failure and liver cancer.

वायरल हेपेटाइटिस भारत सहित राजस्थान में एक बड़ी स्वास्थ्य समस्या है। यह एक संक्रमण है जो लीवर को प्रभावित करता है और विभिन्न वायरस (A, B, C, D, और E) से होता है। अगर समय पर पहचान और इलाज न किया जाए, तो यह लीवर फेल्योर और लीवर कैंसर जैसी गंभीर समस्याएँ पैदा कर सकता है।

⚠️ Types of Viral Hepatitis | वायरल हेपेटाइटिस के प्रकार

Hepatitis A & E – Spread through contaminated water and food (more common during rainy season).

हेपेटाइटिस A और E – दूषित पानी और भोजन से फैलता है (बरसात के मौसम में ज्यादा आम)।

Hepatitis B & C – Spread through blood, unsafe injections, unprotected sex, or from mother to child.

हेपेटाइटिस B और C – खून, असुरक्षित इंजेक्शन, असुरक्षित यौन संबंध या माँ से बच्चे में फैलता है।

Hepatitis D – Occurs only in people already infected with Hepatitis B.

हेपेटाइटिस D – केवल उन्हीं लोगों में होता है जिन्हें पहले से हेपेटाइटिस B है।

🩸 Common Symptoms | सामान्य लक्षण

Yellowing of eyes and skin (Jaundice)

Dark urine, pale stools

Loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting

Fatigue, weakness

Abdominal pain (especially right upper side)

आंख और त्वचा का पीला होना (पीलिया)

गाढ़ा पेशाब, फीका मल

भूख कम लगना, उल्टी

थकान और कमजोरी

पेट के दाहिने हिस्से में दर्द

✅ Drink safe & clean water (use water filters/boiled water).

✅ Wash hands before eating.

✅ Avoid street food and contaminated water.

✅ Use disposable syringes and ensure safe blood transfusions.

✅ Practice safe sex.

✅ Vaccination is available for Hepatitis A & B.

✅ साफ और सुरक्षित पानी पिएँ (फिल्टर/उबला हुआ पानी)।

✅ खाने से पहले हाथ धोएँ।

✅ गली का अस्वच्छ भोजन और दूषित पानी न खाएँ।

✅ डिस्पोजेबल सिरिंज का प्रयोग करें और सुरक्षित रक्त चढ़ाएँ।

✅ सुरक्षित यौन संबंध बनाएँ।

✅ हेपेटाइटिस A और B का टीका उपलब्ध है।
