📌 Definition (परिभाषा)

Chickenpox is a highly contagious viral infection caused by the Varicella-Zoster virus. It leads to fever, tiredness, and an itchy rash that turns into fluid-filled blisters.

चेचक एक अत्यधिक संक्रामक वायरल संक्रमण है, जो वेरिसेला वायरस से होता है। इसमें बुखार, थकान और फफोलेदार दाने हो जाते हैं।

🔎 Diagnosis (निदान)

Clinical examination by doctor

Characteristic rash with fever

History of exposure to infected person

(डॉक्टर द्वारा जांच, विशिष्ट दाने व बुखार, संक्रमित व्यक्ति के संपर्क का इतिहास)

💊 Treatment (इलाज)✅ General Care (सामान्य देखभाल)

Rest and hydration

Use soothing lotions / calamine

Avoid scratching to prevent scars

Isolate patient to avoid spreading

✅ Medications (दवाइयाँ)

Fever: Paracetamol (avoid Aspirin in children)

Antiviral (Acyclovir) in severe cases or high-risk patients

Antihistamines for itching
