Within few minutes to hours, patient may develop:

Severe pain or burning at sting site (काटने की जगह पर तेज दर्द या जलन)

Swelling or redness (सूजन या लालिमा)

Numbness or tingling (सुन्नपन या झनझनाहट)

Sweating and restlessness (पसीना आना और बेचैनी)

Fast heart rate and high blood pressure (दिल की धड़कन तेज, रक्तचाप बढ़ना)

Vomiting, breathlessness, anxiety (उल्टी, सांस लेने में तकलीफ, घबराहट)

In severe cases: shock, pulmonary edema, cardiac failure (गंभीर स्थिति में शॉक, फेफड़ों में पानी, हृदय विफलता)

Diagnosis is mainly clinical, based on:

1️⃣ First Aid / प्राथमिक उपचार

Calm the patient and immobilize the affected part (मरीज को शांत रखें और अंग को स्थिर रखें)

Do not cut, suck, or tie tourniquet (कट लगाना, चूसना या कसना न करें)

Apply cold compress (ठंडी पट्टी लगाएं)

Take the patient immediately to nearest hospital (मरीज को तुरंत अस्पताल पहुंचाएं)

2️⃣ Hospital Management / अस्पताल में इलाज

Pain relief: Local anesthesia or analgesics (स्थानीय सुन्न करने वाली दवा या दर्द निवारक)

Antihistamines & steroids: To reduce allergic reactions (एलर्जी कम करने के लिए)

Prazosin: The drug of choice for systemic envenomation (सिस्टमिक विष के लिए मुख्य दवा)

Adult dose: 0.5 mg every 3 hours initially

(वयस्क: 0.5 मि.ग्रा. हर 3 घंटे में प्रारंभिक खुराक)

Oxygen and fluids: As needed (ऑक्सीजन और तरल द्रव जरूरत अनुसार)

Monitor ECG and BP continuously (ECG और BP की लगातार निगरानी)
